Buying

Buyer’s Resources

Whether you’re buying your first home or your twentieth, I will fight for you during the entire process. While every buyer is different, with varied needs and goals, I will work with you to find your perfect home. Buying a home can come with many confusing aspects and I will be there to communicate with you and negotiate on your behalf.

Should I speak with a lender before looking at homes?

Absolutely! I always encourage potential buyers to speak with a lender and get pre-approved before looking at homes. This will allow you a clear understanding of your buying power.

What are the benefits of homeownership?

There are numerous benefits to owning a home! Not only does homeownership offer increased stability but it also increased net worth and borrowing power. Home values have historically increased over time, making it a worthwhile investment.

If I already own a home, should I sell it before buying another?

There isn’t just one answer, as it can vary depending on your particular situation. There is no concrete timeline on when you will be able to sell your current home, therefore it’s possible you could be without a place to live if your home sells faster than expected. If you cannot purchase a new home without the sale of your current house, then your purchase offer would be contingent upon sale and transfer. Having a Realtor at your side can help you navigate situations such as these.

Why do I need a Realtor?

The home buying process can be tricky and confusing, even more so in multiple offer scenarios. It’s important to use a Realtor to represent your best interests and negotiate on your behalf. I have many resources at my disposal to help you find your perfect home, and typically buyers pay nothing for my services.

Who pays the Realtor at the end of the transaction?

Realtor commissions usually come from the seller’s closing costs, which means that I advocate for you without costing you anything.
